Primarily an oceanic species, little is known about this strikingly beautiful animal.
We know extremely little about spectacled porpoise, and that can be a threat to the species' survival. Scientists are mostly guessing when it comes to some important questions; they do not know how many animals there are or even where exactly they live. Without that data, no management actions can be taken, and conservation initiatives lack an important foundation.
With a symbolic adoption, you can help us raise awareness for this elusive species and its cousins and support our conservation efforts.
- Personalized, printable adoption certificate
- Spectacled Porpoise species profile
- Spot on virtual recognition wall
- Donation receipt for income tax purposes
